When I first heard about this movie it was under the title I.D., which I added to the page. I guess they decided to actually spell it out over time. I remember thinking the movie sounded pretty good, but I was under the impression that it would end up being some slasher. I'm glad it didn't come to that, because that really would have made this a lesser movie than it was. The story is about a group of ten strangers who all end up in an isolated motel in the middle of a rainstorm. Problem after problem arises, but things get worse once they start dying off one by one. They don't know who the killer is and they discover that every one of them is born on the same day. Could that be a clue? *shrugs*

I enjoyed this movie. It was interesting and I found the concept original. It made you think from the start and keep you guessing who the killer could be. It had its decent share of blood and a lot of cool effects and an excellent dark atmosphere in the middle of a storm. The casting was effective and so was the acting. I thought it was very cool how in the beginning events that have already happened to the people are shown in the past-tense for the audience to see; very cool.

The movie wasn't very scary in my opinion, but it did have some tense sense that I'm sure will get to others. I wasn't too sure what to expect at first since the writer is the same guy that did the Jack Frost films, but I read an article some time ago, and if I remember correctly, he said that he really didn't have much creative control over it or something. I was gonna give this movie a 7-rating, cuz I wasn't too into what was going on towards the end, but I really enjoyed the twist at the very end, so it made up for it.

OVERALL

An excellent flick to check out at the theatres. Good story and cast. I recommend this mutha.

Am I the only one that thought this movie was fairly predictable? Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the movie, but I saw the "twist" a mile away.
