Nameless I heard a little about this Spanish film before actually viewing it. I heard both positive and negative reviews and having watched it, I have to say that I was a little let down. I guess I was just expecting more from it. The movie is interesting, but it's not as creepy as some people said it was. Can't believe all the critics say now-a-days. The film had some suspenseful moments, but the plot was a little confusing. I dunno, maybe I just missed something when reading the subtitling, but I just couldn't figure it out. When the ending came I was left with a WTF? look on my face. I was just confused as to what just happened. It ends with somewhat of a question mark. Aside from the confusing story, the acting and directing were good. The director, Jaume Balagueró, is also directing the upcoming film, Darkness. That movie looks pretty cool. Anyway, I liked the fast-paced imagery the film had in some scenes. Sadly though, those are the only parts when the movie got creepy. I found that the whole film was basically just an investigation to finding the woman's daughter and finding a little dark truth behind what's going on. That's what keeps you hooked. You wonder yourself what's going on and what certain things mean. That's what I DID like about the movie. That's why I decided to give it a 6-rating. I guess if the movie had more creepy scenes and a little more to the ending that I'd like it more. I have to give credit that this film was pretty original though. I'm looking forward to Jaume's next film though. OVERALL Comments page 0 of 0:
