Beyond Finally I get a chance to see a classic film. I've been hearing lots of positive buzz about this film for years, and so when I saw the DVD at a local video store I had to buy it.
It starts off interesting enough with a mob killing a warlock and talks about a hotel being the seventh gateway to hell. The film never really drags. It's pretty much interesting from start to finish. Some parts may be a little bit confusing and that's why you gotta pay real close attention to everything that happens. OVERALL Comments page 1 of 1:
One of the better Fulci films, right behind Zombie and City of the Living Dead. The House by the Cemetary was pretty good also..
This movie was put on a pedestal so high that when I saw it, I just couldn't reach it. In other words, my friend built "The Beyond" up so much that when I saw it, I was expecting perfection. I did not get it. The movie is infact awesome, it's just not as godly as some people say it is. But, I may just be bitter due to the Necrophasia mucis video that was on the DVD. God they suck! Phil Anselmo shouldn't play guitar... 6/10
wow, this movie is creepy as hell, one of the best i've seen. Absolutely love the ending.
this film was pretty good although i think more gore and more shots of the redhaired gilr posessed would have done a better job.
