Video Dead
Once again I fall victim to viewing a movie more than once due the fact that I've seen so many horror films that I've forgotten which ones I've already seen. Anyway, I had a feeling I had seen this movie before, but I wanted to check it out anyway, because some were praising the zombies in it. The zombies did look somewhat decent, but they weren't anything to be excited about and there weren't even a lot of them. You can tell this movie was going to be nothing but cheese not only by the title, but by the damn plot. Obviously the writer didn't take much to think up zombies coming out a "magical" TV for no apparent reason. They never fully explained why it happened and apparently they can't simply change the channel or turn the damn thing off to stop the blasted zombies from coming.
Anyway, starts off with delivery guys who mistakenly deliver the TV to a guy who lives in a small house in the middle of no where. Hmmmm.. Well anyway, the zombies come out and eat him and decide to roam the woods around the house until a family decides to move in. The parents are away and the kids, or teens, are left to take care of the home until their parents return. The rest is pretty much easy to figure out. The zombies come and blah, blah. Anyway, the movie is filled with plot-holes, a silly story, bad directing, incredibly bad acting, cheesy effects, and stupid 80s music that I'm sure most of us would like to forget.
What I did like about the movie, aside from there actually being zombies, is the fact that the zombies didn't look half bad and there was a decent amount of cheesy gore. This is truly a low-budget film, but when you watch it with an open mind you wont get too disappointed, but it's hard not to with this film. I was very disappointed with it and now I remember why I even forgot about it in the first place. Would have given it a lower-rating, but I have a weak spot for zombie films.
OVERALL
Cheesy low-budget movie with a silly story. Not recommended unless you're a die-hard zombie fan that would absolutely endure any kind of torture just to catch a glimpse of a rotting zombie.

This is the sixth or seventh review I've read where this sonafabitch slams a good, low-budget horror film as if he alone could make a better one.
He is obviously ignorant, and full of himself for posting this review. the Video Dead is cool as hell for what it is...80s/zombie/Canadian all come together to make a weird, unforgettable combination.
I would like to hunt down this cunt irl and ... his world over for polluting others with his one-sided idiocy.
Fright Master takes the cake for being the ... tiest online horror reviwer known to man.
