We're closing out the first month of the new year with only a handful of new releases. The biggest and most notable being the sci-fi horror flick COMPANION, starring Jack Quaid and Sophie Thatcher. Check below for info and trailers for everything coming out this week.
This Week's Notable Horror: 01/20 - 01/26

Things are finally picking up again this week, as we have close to a dozen releases. The most notable in the lot are NOSFERATU, which lands on PVOD tomorrow, the ghost-POV movie PRESENCE from Steven Soderbergh, which hits theaters this Friday and lastly the New Zealand body horror flick GRAFTED, which debuts on Shudder this Saturday. When approaching a found footage horror film with very minimal casting, I need that “oomph” via a strong storyline, dynamic characters and abbreviated strategy to contain my interest.

A Stranger in the Woods hit every element and then some.  
This Week's Notable Horror: 01/13 - 01/19

We've got another small release week ahead of us, but at least there are some interesting titles in the lot. Namely, PETER PAN'S NEVERLAND NIGHTMARE hit limited theaters today and will only stay in theaters for three days, so if you want to see what a Peter Pan horror movie is like now's your chance, otherwise, you'll have to wait for its inevitable VOD release. Next to that is WOLF MAN from director Leigh Whannell, which lands in theaters this Friday.
