Studio 666 (2022)

REVIEWER RATING:
6/10

Studio 666 essentially came out of nowhere, after having been filmed in secret at the same place the Foo Fighters worked on their latest album.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)

REVIEWER RATING:
6/10

In 1974, Tobe Hooper shocked the film industry with one of the most frightening movies ever made: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. His creation of “Leatherface” are what nightmares are truly made of…sheer terror.

The Cursed (2021)

REVIEWER RATING:
7/10

The Cursed (previously known as Eight For Silver) is writer/director Sean Ellis’ attempt at “reinventing” the werewolf genre, and while he doesn’t quite reinvent it, he does offer an interesting and different take on the curse and transformation.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)

REVIEWER RATING:
7/10

With the recent success of the Halloween reboot it was only a matter of time before another popular franchise retconned their sequels and brought back an original character to get some much-needed revenge.

The Long Night (2022)

REVIEWER RATING:
8/10

The magic of Ragsdale’s films resides in the ability to suspend everyone’s disbelief in the paranormal. Thus is true with his newest creation, The Long Night.

Warhunt (2022)

REVIEWER RATING:
6/10

Warhunt is a horror tale set during the end of WWII, where a military cargo plane crashes somewhere deep in the German black forest, resulting in a ragtag group of soldiers to attempt to find the plane and retrieve the precious cargo.

Fortress (2021)

REVIEWER RATING:
8/10

Bruce Willis may be 66 years old, but his action hero days are far from over. Fortress explodes onto the screen with a stern and steady Robert Michaels (Willis), doing some target practice in the woods of his…well…retirement estate?

Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin (2021)

REVIEWER RATING:
6/10

It's been over a handful of years since the last Paranormal Activity movie, with the last supposedly ending the series. That is, until news broke of this reboot, which surprised no one.

Star Vehicle (2010)

REVIEWER RATING:
3/10

Gutterballs (directed and written by Nicholson) isn’t the most well-made movie, but it’s an absolute blast to watch, with several unique kill scenes you won’t soon forget. Given that background, I had such high hopes for Star Vehicle.

Oh well.

Halloween Kills (2021)

REVIEWER RATING:

After getting delayed last year due to the pandemic, Michael is finally back in Halloween Kills, which takes place immediately following the events of the last movie.
