Halloween Kills (2021)

REVIEWER RATING:
7/10

After getting delayed last year due to the pandemic, Michael is finally back in Halloween Kills, which takes place immediately following the events of the last movie.

Survive the Game (2021)

REVIEWER RATING:
8/10

This may not be considered authentic “horror”, but it packs a punch! And a bloody one, at that.

Malignant (2021)

REVIEWER RATING:
6/10

After taking a short break from the genre to dabble in the superhero business with Aquaman, James Wan returns with an “original horror idea” called Malignant.

TetroManiac: eROTik (2018)

REVIEWER RATING:
8/10

Those who have a fascination with necrophilia, (or a fascination of necrophiliacs), will just love this! Without a doubt, eROTik puts the “rot” in extreme films in a most uncomfortable way. Well, there is no relaxed way to view such atrocious activities, right?

Candyman (2021)

REVIEWER RATING:
5/10

A quick clarification for those who haven’t figured it out yet…Candyman 2021 is NOT a remake. It is a sequel. And we all know how bad most sequels are. *Sigh*

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021)

REVIEWER RATING:
6/10

James Wan stepped down as director to let Michael Chaves (The Curse of la Llorona) take the helm on this third installment in The Conjuring trilogy (and supposed eighth in the Conjuring universe).

The Vigil (2019)

REVIEWER RATING:
6/10

As horror as “grown up” over the years, we’ve bore witness to a large array of subgenres that have broken the mold countless times. This is how finding the basics in horror films has become outdated, as every subgenre has rules and they keep getting broken for the sake of a good story.

29 Needles (2019)

REVIEWER RATING:
8/10

It’s been quite some time since the level of discomfort during a screening has escalated to such an extent. But it’s been achieved! To classify 29 Needles as ‘torture porn’ is labeling this film very mildly.

Willy's Wonderland (2021)

REVIEWER RATING:
6/10

I review indie films regularly. I like to say I’m able to differentiate these films from mainstream cinema and thus, I can highlight objectively without considering the typical amateurish stuff you can find some times.
