Attack of the Unknown (2020)

REVIEWER RATING:
9/10

Independence Day has just collided with Alien and it is one wild explosion! Attack of the Unknown is the perfect reminder as to why I love Richard Grieco so much – his tenacity to stay bad ass!

Fell (2010)

REVIEWER RATING:
7/10

Poor Bill. He lives in a dirty apartment, broke up with his love Jenny, quit his band, is running dangerously low on his medication and has a dead body in the bathtub. Not a good time to be Bill.

Red Krokodil (2012)

REVIEWER RATING:
7/10

There are so many substance abuse films out there, many of which have left permanent marks on would-be followers who have found salvation after watching: Requiem for a Dream, Trainspotting, Black Metal Veins, Leaving Las Vegas, The Rose, Drugstore Cowboy and countless more.

Daytime Nightmare (2020)

REVIEWER RATING:
8/10

Lucy (Grey) is a beautiful and ambitious young lady who begins to follow her dreams of becoming an actress one day. She enrolls in a theater class and immediately bonds with her fellow acting colleagues, much to the chagrin of her introverted roommate and best friend, Sara (Chaiwanna).

Morbid Stories (2019)

REVIEWER RATING:
7/10

In the mood for a decent horror anthology? Consider Morbid Stories! Focused around Candy, a newly single young woman with two ankle-biter pups, there’s an eerie feeling circling her house in the suburbs of California. Ghosts? Poltergeist? Her ex trying to make amends?

She's Allergic to Cats (2016)

REVIEWER RATING:
2/10

What a cool title! It was immediately intriguing to read about a dog groomer with high aspirations who meets a dream girl…apparently allergic to cats?

Unfortunately, that is where the fascination ends and therein lies an underdeveloped and flat fairytale that dissolves into nothingness.

For Jennifer (2018)

REVIEWER RATING:
8/10

It’s been a long time since the last LAHorror.com team gathering, so screening For Jennifer (the 4th installment in the series), was so exciting!
