Death Factory

I knew the movie would be low-budget and from an independent company, so I didn't expect much from it. Its pretty clichéd and predictable, but it has its decent moments. The story is simple - A woman who worked in a factory got exposed to chemicals somehow and ended up killing all her co-workers. Years later dumbass college kids decide to hold a party, *yawn*, and it happens to be at that very factory. You can guess the rest. From reading the plot before seeing the movie I knew that they'd have to rely on something else to make the movie watchable, and I was right, cuz they packed the film with lots of blood and "gore," even though there wasn't much gore in my opinion.

Normally chicks in low-budget horror films are hot, which make the film watchable, but the only chick I found hot actually ended up being the "monster." She sure had an ass on her. Anyway, I would have given the movie a lower-rating for the plot-holes, bad acting, and terrible scripting, but through the many years of being a horror fan, I've seen a lot worse. This movie at least made up for it's crappiness by loading it with blood.

An interesting, but somewhat obvious fact is if you look at the cover of the film the chick may have similarities to the zombie-chick in Return of the Living Dead 3. Well apparently that's where they got the inspiration for the "monster" from. I noticed that from the start and it's good that the director actually admitted to that in the behind-the-scenes of the DVD. Also porn star, Ron Jeremy, makes a cameo appearance in the film as a drunken hobo, who happens to be wearing incredibly clean clothes. This movie will be hitting DVD sometime in November, so pick yourself up a copy!...

OVERALL

A bad low-budget film that could have been worse. Decent monster and lots of blood. Worth a watch if you're into cheesy low-budget films, otherwise stay away.
