UHM - Review - Silen Night, Deadly Night 2

What a waste of a sequel. I never saw the first one, but I did get to see the fourth and the fifth one a long time ago. They seemed okay I guess, but I don't remember much. I don't think I need to see the first since half of this film is just flashbacks from the previous film. It starts off with the younger brother all grown up telling his life story to a psychiatrist. That's when all the flashbacks begin. Like I said before, more than half of this film is just flashbacks. It goes over most of the first film and some new flashbacks of the kid a little older.

There are a lot of plot holes and bad acting in this film. The one thing I did like though was the scene where the brother finally turns psycho and goes on a shooting rampage on a neighborhood street, killing many innocent people. I thought that was quite entertaining. The whole film is basically just the brother talking to the psychiatrist. It doesn't really pick up until the last 15 or so minutes.

OVERALL

A dumb sequel. It has nothing but flashbacks from the first film and a lot of bad acting. Don't waste or time.

oh man it sounds horrible but i haft to say my friend has the dvd with one and two on it and i never saw either so i haft to check it out but after reading that review from shara i might forget he has it and never mention my curiousity

I found this movie in the back of the video store where I rent. All I have to say is I should left the thing there, and I can see why they put it towards the back. I guess they didn't want anyone to know that that peice of crap was in their store. Eric Freeman is not a bad looking guy, but don't qiuet your day job man, his overing acting was scarey. Let me just say the whole entire movie itself sucked, the plot the acting everything. Don't waste your time on this crap.

seriously, who let this piece of rubbish ever see our VHS racks?? Some friends and I watched the series marathon last christmas and were in complete awe at how this even made a dollar. That i even write of it now baffles me...NEVER rent this. ever.

Well, I Finally Got Around To Seeing This Movie and For Free On YOUTUBE. This Schlock Of A "Horror" Movie, If You Want To Call It A Horror Movie, Was DUMB. The Only Thing That I Got To Enjoy Out Of This Movie Were The Last 20 Minutes Where Our Killer Snaps and Goes On His Killing Rampage. But Even That Was Boring Cuz You Know What's Going To Happen. Only Worth A Check If You Like The Franchise, Otherwise Stay Away.
