AYNIB PODCAST: Episode 147 Scream 7 Anaconda 2025 Cold Storage and more

All You need is Blood returns, this time just Shane and Ryan. Shane tries to get a sponsor for the podcast and Ryan has done some book reading including #chucktingle #luckyday and The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires by #GradyHendrix. They boys reminisce about music from the olden times and talk about concerts past, present, and future. We also worry about Mike Flanigan’s upcoming #exorcist project. On our main topics, Shane gives us his opinions on #Scream7 and #Coldstorage Ryan covers #anaconda2025 and #PredatorBadlands.

Thinestra (2025)

REVIEWER RATING:
8/10

Films addressing body image issues have a longstanding history, exploring not only the physiological aspects but also the psychological challenges experienced by individuals with body dysmorphia.

Primal Darkness (2026)

REVIEWER RATING:
8/10

When executed effectively, found-footage horror films have the potential to deliver heightened levels of suspense. I especially prefer low-budget independent features, as they allow me to tap into my own fears without needing elaborate special effects.

This Week's Notable Horror: 04/06 - 04/12

Last week was one of the slowest we’ve had in a while for new releases, but things pick back up this week with over a dozen titles. If you missed'em in theaters, tomorrow brings THE BRIDE! and PSYCHO KILLER to VOD. Meanwhile, Friday offers plenty of options, including the limited theatrical release of the Japanese film EXIT 8 and a wide release for the new FACES OF DEATH.

Faces of Death (2026)

REVIEWER RATING:
8/10

Who here remembers notoriously controversial film, Faces of Death?
Who here remembers Dacre Montgomery as the evil big brother, Billy Hargrove from Stranger Things?

Ashes (2026)

REVIEWER RATING:
8/10

If you are interested in the experiences of American veterans returning from war, consider watching Ashes, which portrays Matt Benning's challenges as he adapts to life in the Midwest. The film highlights his struggles with unemployment, limited family support, and addiction.

This Week's Notable Horror: 03/30 - 04/05

We had a good run of new releases lately, but things sadly slow down this week. Aside from a few on-demand titles, there's not much coming out. Tomorrow sees the VOD debuts of the backwoods horror flick DOLLY and SCREAM 7. Then on Thursday, the alien horror-comedy TOUCH ME is expected to arrive on VOD, though I've read some conflicting reports, so that release may change. Check below for more info on this week's movies.

DRAGN (2025)
