I've got some exciting news for you Roger Corman fans out there.  Shout! Factory, the DVD/Blu-ray company who brought you such great DVD re-releases as THE STEPFATHER, KINGDOM OF THE SPIDERS, and now the forthcoming Roger Corman classic; PIRANHA, now bring you another great re-release!  The company plans to re-release the whole SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE film series on DVD this coming October!

The DVD releases are said to include the following special features:

• All-new interviews with cast, crew and FX personnel from the series
• Vintage never-before-seen interviews
• Behind-the-scenes footage and photographs
• a featurette featuring visits to the original shooting locations
• Audio commentary on the plethora of knockoffs that followed the release of these films such as: THE LAST SLUMBER PARTY, SORORITY HOUSE MASSACRE and our personal favorite, THE SORORITY HOUSE SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE
• "Sleepless Nights: Revisiting the Slumber Party Massacres" three-part documentary
• Audio commentaries for each film moderated by fansite webmaster and documentary producer, Tony Brown

If that wasn't awesome enough, fans will be given the opportunity to be part of the new documentary I mentioned above!  Tony Brown, producer of the documentary and webmaster of the SPM fansite, The Old Hockstatter Place, is holding a contest to find the Ultimate SPM fans!  Simply make a 5 minute video showing and stating how much you love the series.  The best submissions will be featured in the documentary!  The contest ends February 14th so act fast!  Click here for contest rules, requirements, and to download a release form to accompany you submission.
